Letter Sent to Healthcare Workers

Attention: Health Care Workers/Agencies, NGOs, Medical Bodies & Linked Organizations

We are reaching out to you from the platform of Save Gaza Campaign, which is a movement initiated under the Civil Society of Pakistan. Not aligned with any political or religious organization, the campaign aims to prompt proactive Pakistani intervention for an immediate Gaza ceasefire and humanitarian assistance by unifying concerned voices across the country.

In light of the critical condition of patients and health care facilities in Gaza, we would like to collaborate with you on all possible fronts to consolidate our efforts and form an international coalition to show solidarity to the Palestinians and amplify our efforts in unison.

We would like to know what activities you are partaking in for Gaza, as well as possible avenues of our contribution. 

We have formed a coalition of local medical bodies who are united for these demands and are ready to facilitate by all logistical means e.g. 

• Services from doctors and health care workers
• Infrastructure support through local healthcare setups. 
• Financing the treatment of patients

Call to Action for Medical Aid to Gaza:

On our end, we are calling for a combined effort to provide medical aid to Gaza from Pakistan and the transportation of Palestinian patients/wounded to hospitals in Pakistan for receiving urgent treatment. 

We have called on all medical associations, welfare foundations, hospitals  and healthcare workers to join our call to action and become a part of this cause. This initiative aims to use the collective pressure of Pakistani healthcare workers to urge the government to provide life-saving medical aid to the people of Gaza. 

Key Components:

1. Evacuate the injured in Gaza to Pakistan and to field hospitals operated by Pakistan on the Rafah Border.
2. Demand for medical aid and doctors/rescue workers to go to Gaza on the government level. 
3. Urge the Egyptian government to open the Rafah border and build a field hospital at the Rafah Border.
4. Pressurize international forums for the safety of doctors, health care workers, hospitals and patients in Gaza. 
5. Demand international bodies to officially condemn and cancel the licenses of such doctors who have encouraged Israeli Occupation Forces to bomb Gaza.
6. Demand governmental and medical bodies to issue statements against the genocidal actions of Israel and Israeli doctors particularly against the healthcare sector.
7. Protest for the healthcare workers martyred & abducted in Gaza and hospitals targeted by IOF in Gaza.

We have a number of senior doctors on board with us who are passionate and willing to provide all kinds of assistance needed for the Palestinians. We would like them to be connected with your organization/network in order to facilitate collaboration.
