Rally in Islamabad on Global Day of Action

On 13 December 2023- the Global Day of Action for Gaza, Save Gaza Campaign coordinated efforts across Pakistan to bring out rallies for Palestine in major cities.

In Islamabad, participants gathered at the iconic intersection in front of the Parliament house. Initially harassed by police, organizers persisted and eventually hundreds of people gathered at the spot.

Notable personalities, such as Actress Mishi Khan, Designer Maria B., Journalist Javeria Siddiqui, speaker Qaiser Ahmed Raja, and others joined the rally.

Most memorable were a group of Palestinian students who joined all the way from Lahore, sharing their message with the crowd.

A speech was done in collaboration with ‘countdown to ceasefire’, an international platform uniting protestors all across the globe for the Global Day of Action.
